The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 1.0
ISO Creator is a straightforward software application devoted to create ISO image files of files and folders in a simple and efficient way. This one-task utility also gives you the possibility of including a bootable image file (IMG) on your discs to help you reboot your operating system in case of a computer crash.
The aim of this tool is to provide you with a simple and clear function that any user can use. To achieve that, Cheapshareware has stripped this tool of all the accessories that usually come with ISO-related tools, such as a disc burner or an ISO editing tool. The result is a wizard-like interface that guides you through the ISO creation process in just three or four steps. You just need to select the files or folders that you want to include in your ISO file and decide if you wish to append a bootable image or not. The only thing left to do is to wait for the program to build the ISO image. If you wish to burn that ISO file to disc, you will need a third-party tool for that.
The “Advanced” tab includes some extra settings that only experienced users may have the need to tweak. All the advanced settings “recommended” by the manufacturer are already ticked on by default, so the average user is advised to walk on tiptoes around this tab and proceed to the “Start” tab to launch the creation process.
ISO Creator merely builds ISO files, and it does its job in an efficient and straightforward way.
